Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey - 70cl - 40% ABV Rating:

Buffalo Trace's Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is expertly crafted using a blend of corn from Kentucky and Indiana, select rye, and premium malted barley. The bourbon is then aged in historic warehouses, featuring large wooden beams and a brick exterior, that take advantage of Kentucky's seasonal temperature changes to naturally mature the bourbon at its own pace. To ensure optimal aging, steam is pumped through the warehouses in the winter to prevent extreme cold from stalling the process. This unique temperature control allows the bourbon to cycle in and out of the wood, extracting additional flavors from the charred barrels. First introduced in 1859 by Buffalo Trace, this aging technique produces a perfectly balanced and flavorful bourbon, as the liquid absorbs the natural sugars from the wood.
