Angostura 1919 Rum 70cl with Gift box is a light blend of rums, aged in charred bourbon casks. This sipping rum pairs elegantly with desserts and chocolate, making it the perfect gift. It's also ideal for sweeter, spirit-forward cocktails like the Old Fashioned. This award-winning rum earned the 2021 Gold Award at the World Spirits Awards and The Spirits Business Rum and Cachaça Masters. It has a storied history, originating from the Government Rum Bond fire of 1932. After purchasing the remaining charred casks (which still held rum), Mr. Fernandes discovered they were filled in 1919. The blended rum became known as "1919 Aged Rum" and was highly esteemed. The House of Angostura paid tribute to this historic rum by creating their own Angostura 1919 Aged Rum after acquiring the Fernandes Distillery in 1947.
